In 2004, Jason Clary founded our parent company, RN Design, with a focus on thoughtful, high-quality interior design and build. What began as custom work, often centered around bunk rooms, quickly grew into a craft we became known for: designing and building spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful.

As demand grew, so did the reach of our work. Clients began asking for our bunk designs in homes beyond Montana, which led to the creation of ICON Bunks: a line of luxury, freestanding bunk beds designed to bring the same level of craftsmanship and care to spaces anywhere. By standardizing select models and sizes, we’re able to offer shorter lead times and a more accessible path to elevated, well-designed bunk rooms.

Today, with over 700 custom bunk rooms behind us, ICON Bunks continues to operate out of Bozeman, Montana, where it all began. We’re proud to build everything by hand, right here in the USA, and even more proud to create pieces that are meant to be lived in, gathered around, and passed down.
